Services Available From CTA Laboratories

Patient Thermographic Examinations

CTA Diagnostic Laboratory is set up to provide the most up to date Clinical Thermographic services available. We are a full service laboratory, with clinical examinations, thermograms and processing of films with interpretation all at the same location. Thermographic examinations are normally performed on high tech digital telethermographic equipment, but we also have several LCT and thermocouple devices available if preferred.

Studies performed at this location include upper body thermographic scans, Lower body thermographic scans, Cephalic and TMJ thermographic scans, Mammatherms (breast studies), Scrotal thermography and peripheral studies.

Patient Clinical Examinations

Standard and specialized clinical examinations are normally performed on a limited basis with each thermographic study performed. This helps clarify thermal variables that are imaged. Detailed or comprehensive examinations may be performed with thermographic studies, if requested prior to study. All such examinations are performed specifically by Dr. Chapman.

Medical-Legal Examinations

Dr. Chapman is a Certified Industrial Injury Evaluator and Qualified Medical Examiner with California's Workers’ Compensation. He provides basic, detailed and comprehensive medical examinations on patient’s including reports. He also is frequently asked to provide consultations and second opinions for other physicians in the community.

Thermographic Interpretation Service

CTA Laboratories provides a full thermographic interpretation service for physicians worldwide. Dr. Chapman personally reviews all films, with formal reports prepared for the referring physicians.

The interpretation service was initially an off shoot of the Focus on Thermography Symposiums, designed to get new thermographers up and running. The service provides critiques on films, research updates and general support. Many physicians continue to utilize this service, rather than be bothered preparing formal reports themselves.

Thermographic and Medical-Legal Consultation Service

Dr. Chapman is used extensively for second opinions by insurance carriers. He is also consulted and frequently called to testify in malpractice cases, personal injury cases and has been a consultant and expert for licensure cases throughout the United States. He has testified as an expert in Municipal, Superior and Workers’ Comp. Courts many times. For more information, please request information by E-mail.
